Bree Collaborative reaffirms Primary Care Report and Guidelines!<\/h2>\n

In March 2026, Bree Collaborative members reaffirmed our Primary Care report and guidelines. The report, originally written in 2020, highlights the must have and strongly encouraged elements for high quality primary care, as well as guidelines for health plans and healthcare purchasers.<\/p>\n

Access to primary care is a function of multiple factors and circumstances<\/strong>, including but not limited to provider supply, insurance coverage, and geographic barriers. Primary care practices report a decline in access since the COVID-19 pandemic, but at the same time highlighted improvement in meeting must-have elements such as behavioral health integration and screening for social needs. (Mackwood et al., 2025) As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, maintaining a clear definition of primary care and its core components is essential. A shared understanding of high\u2011quality primary care supports alignment across partners in the Washington healthcare ecosystem and helps ensure access to systems, providers, and healthcare teams equipped to deliver comprehensive, effective care.<\/p>\n

Request to Submit Data on Perinatal Behavioral Health work!<\/h2>\n

The Perinatal Behavioral Health work group is interested in collecting baseline process data for 2024. Data can be submitted throughout 2025. If your organization is using or is planning on using the Bree guidelines for work on Perinatal Behavioral Health, we would like to invite you to participate in our baseline data collection effort.
