Every interventional cardiologist in Washington State, plus those who work at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart in Oregon, who performed 10 or more PCIs in 2020 received an individual physician-to-physician report prior to the webinar with their individual bleeding data. Dr. Doll laid out clear goals for reducing bleeding events across the region, why that&#8217;s important, and strategies for getting there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ashok Venkataraman, MD,<\/strong> cardiothoracic surgeon at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart in Riverbend (OR), offered a presentation on the benefits of concomitant Afib ablation surgery and the high levels of evidence for this practice from surgical societies.
