Orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and other clinicians<\/span><\/span> engage in the process of\u00a0selecting evidence-based QI metrics for monitoring \u2013 aligned to emerging\u00a0national metrics when available \u2013 as well as a set of “common sense” metrics and\u00a0those with emerging evidence. Spine COAP has created a\u00a0community of surgeons acting on performance\u00a0data through education, peer-benchmarking effects, and evidence based interventions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spine COAP is a Washington State-approved Coordinated Quality Improvement Program (CQIP<\/a>).
