Today is the first-ever World Patient Safety Day<\/a>! To honor that, we at the Washington Patient Safety Coalition want to highlight some of resources we have available for those working within the patient safety field!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Washington Patient Safety Coalition is a program of the Foundation for Health Care Quality (FHCQ) that acts as a neutral hub uniting a diverse range of healthcare stakeholders to achieve common patient safety goals. Find out more about WPSC here<\/a>!<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

All webinars are from noon to 1pm PST and open to anyone interested. Webinars are free to those on staff at any of our member organizations, and available at a small fee to non-members.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Northwest Patient Safety Conference: <\/strong>Curated annually by the WPSC, the\u00a0Northwest Patient Safety Conference<\/strong>\u00a0is the only event of its kind in the Western US, uniting healthcare professionals, providers, patients, families, and caregivers from all care settings for a day of networking and engaging in sessions with industry thought leaders and others invested in improving the patient experience.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The theme for the 2020 Conference is: Driving Towards Collaboration and Safety, <\/strong>we will be focusing on patient perspective and engagement, innovation and how to brainstorm creatively for collaboration and best practices- hearing first hand success stories and lessons learned from the field.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
