The purpose of this position is to provide support in reviewing patient safety events as well as providing advanced analysis and reporting of safety trends for HMC Patient Safety, Quality Improvement and operational leadership.  The Patient Safety Analyst will work collaboratively with the Patient Safety Officer, Asst. Administrator of Quality Improvement, the Associate Medical Director for Quality and Safety, and PSN Clinical Manager to develop and evaluate patient safety initiatives across Harborview Medical Center’s Patient Safety Program. This position represents a vital aspect of Harborview’s Patient Safety Program by providing the initial review, referral and triage of PSN reports.

Multicare is currently recruiting for a system director of patient safety and PSO to lead patient safety initiatives across the entire health system. The System Director of Patient Safety and Patient Safety Officer provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the MHS Patient Safety Program, with an overall goal of reducing patient harm. This position serves as the system’s Deputy/Associate Patient Safety Officer, providing expertise and overseeing the implementation of the overall Patient Safety Program, including High Reliability Organization programming. Provides direct supervision and operational support for all Patient Safety Program Managers within MHS. This leader is skilled in adapting system strategies to meet the needs of individual facilities and service lines across MHS. Reports to the VP of Quality, Safety and Clinical Integration and is a member of the Quality Management Department’s leadership team, ensuring collaboration and alignment across all aspects of Quality and Safety throughout the organization.
