Advancing Equity

The Oregon Health Authority notes that “health equity will occur when all people can reach their full health potential and are not disadvantaged by their race, ethnicity, language, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientations, social class, intersections among these communities or identities, or other socially determined circumstances.” This workgroup aims to achieve health equity by leveraging sociodemographic data and policy efforts.
