Description: Join us as we celebrate the creation of the Bree Report on First Episode Psychosis and share practical ways to use it in your work.
First Episode Psychosis (FEP) refers to the initial onset of psychotic symptoms—an important window for early intervention. Early detection and timely care, ideally within 90 days of symptom onset as recommended by the World Health Organization, can improve quality of life and may prevent the condition from progressing. Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) remains the gold-standard model for early intervention.
During the webinar, workgroup members will discuss:

  • How to support individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis

  • Strategies to strengthen care delivery, including CSC

  • How clinicians, health plans, and others can use the Bree Report to improve outcomes

Speakers:

  • Darcy Jaffe, ARNP- Senior Vice President Quality and Safety, Washington State Hospital Association [Workgroup Chair]
  • Mike Franz, MD- Executive Medical Director, Behavioral Health, Cambia Health Solutions
  • To be announced
