In 2025 the Bree Collaborative addressed three new health care topics: Surgery Optimization, Blood Pressure Control, and First Episode Psychosis. Throughout the year, work group subcommittees also helped conceptualize and develop evaluation tools, including evaluation frameworks, recommended metrics and measurement concepts, and theories of change. These new tools will be posted to our Implementation Guide over the next month.
Another evaluation tool that the Bree Collaborative has developed are report and audience specific score cards. Organizations can use score cards in many ways. Some have used them to establish a baseline prior to implementation of the guidelines and identify gaps in care processes. Other organizations that are further ahead have used them to document their care practices and processes and demonstrate their alignment with Bree recommendations.
All Bree audience types, from large health systems to small clinics, public and private health plans, employers or community organizations can use our score cards to receive awards from the Bree Collaborative and the Foundation for Health Care Quality.
The Bree offers a series of awards for those who are just starting implementation of our reports (Pathfinder Award), for those who have high fidelity with Bree recommendations (Trailblazer Award), and for those who can demonstrate how they have embedded equity in to their best practices (Mountain Climber Award).
You can access our score cards by using the links or QR codes below. We invite you to join us in improving health care quality for all Washingtonians and share your hard work.
